Oct. 21, 2024

Saudi Arabia, as an energy hub in the Middle East, is becoming the focus of the global energy market with its excellent geographical advantages and policy support. The Saudi government has launched the "Vision 2030" plan, committed to diversifying its energy structure and vigorously developing renewable energy. It plans to achieve a 50% share of renewable energy in the energy structure by 2030, and plans to invest huge amounts of money in renewable energy projects, providing broad market opportunities for merchants from all over the world.

Gain Solar debuts at Saudi Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition

Gain Solar showcases products that fit Saudi characteristics

On October 15-16, the Saudi Solar Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Exhibition (Solar & Storage Live KSA) was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's largest city. Gain Solar brought many BIPV cutting-edge products that fit the local characteristics, high-transparency and colorful large components, and smart application solutions to the exhibition. While displaying innovative achievements and technical strength, it also conducted in-depth exchanges with partners in the Middle East to jointly explore cooperation opportunities and development prospects in the field of green energy.

As the only professional solar energy and energy storage exhibition in Saudi Arabia, Solar & Storage Live KSA aims to promote the further application and development of solar energy, energy storage and renewable energy in Saudi Arabia.

This exhibition attracted many exhibitors and professional visitors from all over the world, providing an important platform for communication and cooperation for international investors and project developers, and jointly contributing to Saudi Arabia's energy transformation, accelerating the realization of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030", and developing world-class energy infrastructure and clean energy solutions.

In order to further develop the Saudi Arabian and even Middle Eastern markets, Gain Solar focused on exhibiting BIPV star products at the exhibition - blue bricks, glass series products, high-transmittance components, large color components, etc. Its unique local appearance pattern design attracted many international customers to stop and learn more about product technology, performance advantages and rich application scenarios, laying a solid foundation for subsequent project cooperation.

"Saudi Arabia is in a hot, dry, and windy climate all year round. In order to keep cool in the hot summer, many buildings here are coated with thick plaster materials. This practice can not only increase the reflectivity of sunlight, but also cool down the house." Zhang Yifei, general manager of Gain Solar, said that in combination with the local climate and architectural characteristics, Gain Solar has carried out targeted product design.

This time, the focus is on exhibiting BIPV products that also have the characteristics of heat insulation and windproof building materials, which can be widely used in the exterior skin of buildings. The stacked bricks and geometric patterns are all from local elements, forming the core design aesthetics of the Middle East. The complex pattern designs such as triangles, mosaics, and gold foil patches are integrated with the characteristics of the Arab nation, showing a unique exotic style.

Gain Solar Innovative Products and Applications

In terms of products, Gain Solar innovatively integrates photovoltaic power generation technology with architectural-grade glass, solving the problem of the single form of traditional crystalline silicon photovoltaic curtain walls, which can meet the aesthetic requirements of color and texture of building skin design, and has the characteristics of renewable energy power generation, energy saving and environmental protection.

While meeting the construction market's demand for beautiful and practical, economical design, safe and reliable, easy installation, intelligent and efficient, it is also suitable for a variety of application scenarios such as building curtain walls, zero-carbon parks, urban commercial complexes and data centers. The products have passed more than 30 "photovoltaic + building materials" dual industry certifications and are fully adapted to the harsh weather such as high temperature and dust in the tropical desert climate of Saudi Arabia.

In terms of application, Gain Solar has launched 13 generations of BIPV green building products and demonstration projects, and launched hundreds of "photovoltaic +" solutions, which have been successfully applied to the world's largest zero-energy building-the new headquarters building of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, the new model of sustainable urban life-the Swiss Wolf Block, the permanent venue of the World Internet of Things Expo-Wuxi International Conference Center, the National Luban Award Project-Dalian International Conference Center, the first zero-energy modular building in China-Shanghai Merchants Brilliant City Zero Carbon Exhibition Hall, the largest high-speed railway station in Asia-Xiong'an High-speed Railway Station, and more than 100 domestic and foreign landmark buildings, with a cumulative application area of more than 1.1 million square meters, and products and services covering more than 100 countries and regions.
